You better keep your head on a swivel because Kaitlyn sets strong screens on the perimeter to create open driving lanes for ball-handlers. She was physical, determined, and an all-around impactful player for Team Two at the PGH Illinois Freshman Showcase. Her versatility and high motor really stood out. Kaitlyn showed her range by sinking a smooth corner three, crashed the glass to secure an offensive rebound, dished out a nice bounce pass to a backdoor cutter, deflected a pass for a steal, and cut to the basket for a strong catch and finish off two. One of her highlights happened when she maintained her concentration to adjust to a tipped pass during a fast break, scooped up the 50/50 ball, pivoted, forced the foul, and knocked down the free throw confidently at the line.
