Kaity had 19 points in a convincing win over Colts Neck and was also Game MVP in a win over Princeton Day. She will be a senior at Gill St. Bernard’s this fall and part of a team that returns all but one player (Addy Platt – St. Joe’s) this year and added a post presence that they lacked. Kaity is a powerful downhill driver who can muscle her way to the basket with regularity. She uses change of direction well on her dribble drive and moves well off the ball going to the rim and finishes well in traffic. She has averaged 16 3-pointers per season over the last three seasons and is a physical presence on the glass. Kaity should eclipse 1,000 career points and with a veteran, balanced roster, Gill could make some noise come State Tournament time and get right back the the Non-Public B Championship where they fell short against Gloucester Catholic last year.

Kaity did a superb job sticking with the play, battling through a ton of contact and still finishing strong on layups & put-backs. Very patient with her dribble at the top of the key to size up the opponent, survey the defense & make her move; effective dribble penetration. She rolled with the punches, absorbed the hits & never complained.

Kaitlyn impressed with her ability to score and facilitate. She made accurate passes to teammates cutting to the basket and knocked down contested three-pointers with confidence. When defenders pressured her too tightly on the perimeter, she showed the ability to blow by them and finish strong through contact at the rim.

A true multi-level scorer with the ability to impact the game from all areas of the floor. She attacked off the dribble with strength and confidence, consistently getting into the paint and creating scoring opportunities. Beyond her ability to penetrate, she was also a dangerous perimeter threat who knock down 3’s at a high clip. In the half-court, she displayed an effective high-low game and showed strong awareness by keeping her head up and finding teammates in scoring positions. Her combination of scoring versatility, playmaking vision & offensive poise made her a difficult matchup.

Kaitlyn had an excellent junior campaign for Gill St. Bernard’s, averaging 13 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists while helping lead her team to a North B State Section title. She sees the floor well and delivers sharp, on-time passes to cutting teammates. Kaitlyn is also a strong perimeter shooter with a high-arcing release and finishes effectively around the basket, showing confidence with either hand.
