Kardiar’s poised play as a facilitator and skilled ball-handling caught my attention at the HBCU Showcase. She demonstrated excellent court vision and dished out assists. Kardiar used a quick pocket dribble and side-stepped a defender to get a good look at the basket. She was active on the offensive glass. Kardiar drove from the perimeter with a dribble burst, landed with a jump stop, then finished off two feet. She’s a determined guard with the motor and skill needed to be a difference maker on the court.

Kardiar was a shifty and quick playmaker in the backcourt for Team 6 who looks ready to make an immediate splash at the high school level. She made unselfish one-more passes to create open shots for teammates and had no problem shaking defenders with her elusive handles to create space to drive. Kardiar avoided a defender with a fancy side-step in the lane to earn a trip to the line and knocked down the shot with confidence. She has an extra gear in the open court and switched hands comfortably, while pushing the tempo. Kardiar showed her strength by absorbing hard contact and finishing through it for the layup. She was active as a rebounder and will be an exciting guard to watch this winter.
