Expert Analysis

Karleigh brought nonstop energy for Team 1 at the PGH Expo and made her presence felt with her relentless effort. She chased down offensive boards and turned them into second-chance points with tough put-backs, while also showing her versatility by grabbing a defensive rebound and taking it coast to coast. On the defensive end, she was locked in and tough to score against, using her hustle and awareness to disrupt plays. Any college program would benefit from a player with her motor and competitiveness, and she looks poised for a big senior season this winter.

Karleigh is a guard who could turn some heads at The Expo on Saturday. That’s exactly what she did when I watched her play at GVSU Elite Camp. She attacks gaps with a second gear off the dribble, finishes through contact at the rim, and wreaks havoc with her pressure on the defensive end. Karleigh plays hard, rebounds, and comes from a program with winning cache. She’s a two-way player I’m excited to see on Saturday.

Karleigh’s aggressiveness and multidimensional presence on both ends of the court made her stand out at GVSU Elite Camp. Karleigh used an effective high-rip move to finish a tough layup, drove hard to the basket, and absorbed contact for a strong and-one. She blocked a shot attempt, snagged an offensive rebound, and created deflections with her active hands on defense. Karleigh scored multiple layups with a burst off the dribble & shared the ball with her teammates. She had a solid day and is a prospect I’d love to watch at The Expo in September.

Karleigh was a key contributor for a Brandywine team that finished D3 runner-up in Michigan. She’s a pesky defender who jumps passes to grab steals and causes deflections with her quick hands. Karleigh has a burst off the bounce that leads to layups and will be a guard to watch representing Michigan with Team Soil Basketball at the Victory Region Finals.
