Sometimes girls from smaller schools have a harder time getting recruited to how much attention is given to the bigger schools. Karleigh is a hidden gem and someone who can definitely play in college. She played her first season of AAU this summer and had a really nice year. She has a great frame to be a mismatch nightmare at the next level. I know of a handful of regional coaches that have been impressed with Karleigh’s play.

Karleigh is a very powerful athlete and stands a respectable 5’10.  She has a tremendous base and can really battle down low with her strength.  She rises up on her jump shots and has a decent first step to get by bigger girls.  I think she could be a matchup nightmare at the next level.  If she is defended by someone bigger, she can use her athleticism to get by them.  If she is defended by a guard, she can use her strength as a mismatch down low.

Karleigh is more impressive each time I see her play.  She is such a physical presence out on the floor.  Her strength and athleticism is really impressive.  She has great leaping ability which allows her to rise up over her defender for jump shots.  She is able to keep possessions alive on the glass.  She has a powerful first step and plays with a swagger needed of a team’s best player.

She is the best scorer for the Bulldogs. Kadoun is averaging 20.6 ppg. She scores the rock from 3-point land, mid-range, and in transition off defensive traps/steals. The best part of Karleigh’s game is her ability to shoot from anywhere on the court. She has an impressive ability to get points in catch-n-shoot situations and make it look good. Kadoun is also strong, jumps well, finishes through fouls, is athletic to trap & force steals, and she executes when running the floor in transition.

Karleigh is helping lead Sargent County to the top of Class B. She has good size and does a nice job of creating space in the half-court. She has good jumping ability which allows her to elevate over defenders for buckets close to the basket. She is a very good outside shooter and has a quick release. She was an 2nd-Team All-State selection last year as a sophomore and I anticipate she will be a member of one the All-State teams this season as well.

Karleigh was a huge contributor on last season’s 3rd place state tournament team. She is Sargent County’s top returning scorer at 18.5 points per game and was selected to the 2nd-Team All-State team. She has good size and moves well in transition. I noticed she plays with great effort and isn’t afraid to get on the floor and dive for 50/50 balls. She has the ability to knock down deep 3 point shots and makes good decisions in transition. Karleigh will have another terrific season and give Sargent County a great chance at getting back to the State Tournament.
