Whited played an exceptional defensive game. She is the athlete that does all of the little things for her team. She dives for the loose balls. She gets after it on both ends non-stop. She can score too! She may have hit one of the most crucial 3’s of the game in the 3rd quarter to pull her team within one point. Scratch that, she hit the most crucial 3 in the 4th quarter to tie the game! The game doesn’t go to overtime without Karlie nailing the 3’s! I was left incredibly impressed by the play of Karlie.

Whited continues to help lead CAK to wins! Karlie is playing exceptional. She continues to take care of the ball and put her teammates in position to score. I love the effort that she brings on both sides of the court. One thing that I love about CAK and Karlie is how you never have to question their effort. Whited doesn’t lose focus and contributes in so many different ways to help her team win. The senior is getting it done and playing the game the right way!

Solid ball player who can score the basketball and facilitate the rock. A heady ball player who is selfless. A team first attitude, she is going to make sure her teammates get love early and often. She will score points from both near and far, however it’s her ability to do the little things that make her stand out the most. Timely passes, communicate, get her teammates in the correct spots, play defense, get steals, grab boards, things such as these that kids her height don’t normally do. A fundamentally sound kid who is a tough competitor. Look for her to have a sensational senior season and help CAK make a run this year.

Tough kid who just loves to play the game. She can score it from multiple spots, hit open teammates with ease, contribute on the defensive end by slowing down the opposition, and rebounding. She is fundamentally sound and does the little things well. She’s a coach’s dream as she will go out and execute whatever is asked of her. She leaves everything she has on the floor, battling each and every possession, fighting tooth and nail. Karlie is solid with ball in her hands, makes the right reads, and just gets after it. This is her final year so look for her to go out with a bang. Hard-working basketball player that is going to be a solid addition for a program at the next level.
