Karsyn is a gritty point guard who knows how to really facilitate the offense and dominate the pace of the game. She plays to her speed and forces opposing teams to do the same. She attacks down-hill very well and plays off 2 feet when getting inside the paint. She finishes with both hands and has a smooth spin move she likes to utilize. She can shoot from deep too if defenders get lazy and leave her open. She has quick feet on the defensive side of the ball too, keeping defenders in front of her and recovering quickly.

Ripplinger is a pretty fluid player who can knock down shots out to 3-point with a compact shot. She shows good footwork when attacking downhill and stays balanced and in control when working through multiple defenders. At Kennewick, she isn’t asked to score a ton, but she shows good spatial awareness to move without the rock and communicate assignments defensively. She takes care of the ball from the point and has been a solid performer for the Lions this winter.

Karsyn is poised for a big season at Kennewick after a solid summer with Sagebrush Hoops . Ripplinger can shoot the ball really well from deep, having a quick release and great arch to top her shot. She runs the court in transition well, filling lanes smoothly and being able to finish through contact in the paint.
