It was clear right from the opening tip that Kassidy McCormack only knows one way to play. That is all out 100 percent. This dynamic point guard loves attacking the rim and doesn’t shy away from creating contact. McCormack is savvy at drawing fouls to get to the charity stripe and finishing when she is bumped. McCormack can drain the deep 3-pointer or pull up in the midrange. On defense, her relentless effort never allows the person she is guarding to get comfortable. Perhaps the strongest part of her game is leaking out ahead of the pack and scoring in transition.

McCormack brought a strong scoring presence from the perimeter, knocking down multiple three point shots while creating off the dribble. Her ball handling allowed her to navigate pressure and get into her pull-up game. She showed confidence attacking gaps and finishing plays. Defensively, she contributed with active hands and quick reactions. She also played with a high motor, consistently staying involved in the action. Her ability to score. at multiple levels added versatility to the offense. She maintained composure in competitive moments.
