Katelynn put herself on the PGH radar over the summer at Northwood Team Camp. Her 6-foot length, filled-out frame, size, athleticism, and good mobility for her position gave me confidence in her potential to be a sought-after post prospect in this class. She turned in a solid performance at The Compound Fall League, demonstrating skilled footwork, good hands in the post, the ability to switch hands in transition, and a soft finishing touch around the basket. Katelynn will be a forward prospect whose recruiting takes off as she plays more in front of college coaches. She’ll be a productive interior player for Romeo this season.

Katelynn is an under-the-radar 6-foot forward prospect who will be gaining a following from college coaches sooner rather than later. She’s athletic, has the muscular frame/size/mobility that translates to the next level at her position, and hasn’t hit her ceiling yet. Katelynn towered over the field at The Compound open gym and displayed the qualities that will make her a highly targeted prospect in no time. She caught a pass inside and used an effective pivot to score the layup. Katelynn swiped the ball away at the top of the key and pushed the ball up the court using both hands to score a fast break layup. She has good hands in the post and caught an entry pass to score a layup off two feet at the rim.
