Akron-Westfield has some gamers in their younger Classes. One of those gamers out of their 2030 Class, who we will see this Winter is Katie Brown at the Guard position. Brown, the 5’4 PG/SG, is going to be a player that can step up to produce right away by getting others involved. She can set the tone for her team’s pace of play and she can control the overall tempo of an outing when she has possession of the rock. This group at this point will have multiple guards who can compete and produce as starters so it’ll be fun to see how they all work together over the next couple of seasons. If they play their cards right, it’s going to be a lot of production and a lot of winning as a group!
