Katie is the definition of a true stock riser! She had a great sophomore year at Heritage and she is starting the AAU season off hot! The 8AM game time didn’t bother Graves, she is ready whenever her number is called! She was lights out from anywhere on the court! How many kids shoot 78% from the field and 100% from behind the arc? Katie went 7-9 from the floor, 2-2 from 3! She is one of the smartest athletes on the floor. Graves does not force anything. The very next game, she shot 2-6 from the floor. I have no doubt that college coaches are going to be all over this one!

I heard Graves started Heritage’s last 3 games, and the sophomore has really expanded her game. On this team, her ability to simply be a catch and shoot 3 point threat will mean so much to Heritage’s offense as Swaney and Heath will draw a tremendous amount of attention, and Graves will find herself wide open all season long.

Became a big time contributor for Heritage as a ’27 that could come into a game, space the floor, and knock down open shots. With Heath and Swaney returning, there will be plenty of open shots to go around again this year. She will be up for the challenge to take up her up another level.

Found a crucial role for her Heritage High School District Championship team as a freshman. She will allow us to send some different looks at teams defensively. Great shooter, finds her teammates, plays the game the right way. Katie has a high basketball IQ and is very quick. Katie is not afraid to step out and guard an elite offensive player.rnLook for this 2027 to continue to get better and be a big-time player.
