Katy strikes me as the type of kid who is a late commitment somewhere, and she ends up being a highly effective small college ballplayer. Katy is feisty, tough-nosed, and she is skilled. She can knock down the 3-pointer consistently, she can create off the dribble, and she is a willing passer as well. She’ll get after it defensively and do a lot of those “little things” that help teams win. If the right “fit” of a school can appreciate the size of her game over her size, I think she can be impactful throughout her college career.

Katy is one of those smaller prospects who leans on her toughness and grit to succeed. She plays with a nice motor, she doesn’t shy away from contact, and she will get in there and mix it up defensively or from a rebounding perspective. She has good ball skill, the ability to run or create offense, and she can knock down an open rhythm jumper consistently. I don’t know that she is elite at any one thing, but she is well-rounded and has a really nice understanding of the game. She definitely outplays her size.
