The homestanding Skyhawks of SCISA 4A Hammond bounced back from a blowout loss against South Pointe to score a 76-45 triumph over 3A Crestwood. With 27 points, Hyman was once again instrumental in the Hammond victory. Hyman has no problems drawing contact and getting to the free throw line – and she displayed that early as much of said early production was at the charity stripe. Hammond’s roster has her at 5-foot-9 – certainly ideal for the three and four spots on the court she typically plays at. Defenses have to particularly watch out for her if she is in the interior as she is also a gifted rebounder and high-percentage shot maker.

She concluded her evening with a 14-point showing that led the Skyhawks to a commanding victory over 4A Rocky River out of North Carolina. Hyman displays her ability to organize an offense in a halfcourt set with her ability to play point. As a scorer, she is very efficient – particularly in the midrange game and when she is near the rim. She also has no problems absorbing contact and getting to the free throw line. The game was so lopsided that she had plenty of time take in the action from the bench.
