Kayla brought great energy and made her presence felt from the jump. She blocked shots with her length and timing and protected the paint well. She crashed the boards on both ends and created second-chance opportunities with her work on the offensive glass. Kayla also showed nice elevation when rebounding and on her jumper. On one play, she simply took the ball out of an opponent’s hands despite them having clear control, which spoke to her strength and instincts and pure will.
