Kaylen McGee showed major upside at Jazz City Jam as a young 2033 post prospect with size, strength, and a high motor. Listed at 5’6” out of Columbus Municipal School District, McGee already has the frame and physical tools to make an impact around the paint. Her AAU listing also connects her with the FLY Girls Tyrone 12U group.

What stood out most was her willingness to battle inside. Kaylen competed for rebounds, fought for position, and showed flashes as a strong interior finisher. She plays with good toughness for her age and brings the type of energy that can change possessions.

Defensively, McGee stayed active near the rim, challenged shots, and made opponents work for clean looks. As she continues developing her footwork, conditioning, and offensive touch, her ceiling will keep rising.

Kaylen McGee is still early in her development, but the tools are there. With continued reps and confidence, she has a chance to become one of the young frontcourt names to watch from this 13U group.
