Sanders was among the blistering shooters for Adair that led the Lady Warriors to a runner up finish in 3A. This summer she’s with EYG , who will be playing in Houston for the Clash of Clubs. Shooting will always be her calling card, which is a good thing because college coaches always value the ability to stretch the floor and hit from deep. This spring and summer are giving her an opportunity to expand her game. In preparation to keep Adair in the 3A State Tournament race, and help better prepare Sanders for the next level. Recently at Border War, Sanders had a 6 assist game. Which is a good sign for her further development.

A potentially elite shooter in the 2027 class, she possesses deep range that forces defenses to extend, opening driving lanes for herself and her teammates. A scrappy guard with strong ball-handling skills and the basketball IQ to run the point guard position.

In transition, she shows excellent vision, looking ahead and creating opportunities on the break. What stands out most on deep three-pointers she is ready to shoot needing no steps into the shot—if a defender gives space, it’s simply “hand down, man down.”

On the defensive end, she stays low, doing a great job keeping opposing ball handlers in front. She has an high defensive IQ is evident in both man-to-man and zone concepts.

She’s an experienced guard who has been an important piece of Adair’s success since her freshman year. She has a strong skill set and a clear understanding of what it takes to win

Joining Grubbs in starting the first half three party was the junior. Ended up in double figures in the first half, including a pair of threes. Fantastic energy on the defensive end as well. Sanders is clearly playing her part in Adair’s title push.

Listed as a combo guard but handled the ball a majority of the time for her team. What adds to the combo guard is her outside shooting ability. First let’s discuss the point guard qualities. Great ball handling that pushes the tempo in transition with eyes up the court. Dropped several smooth assists in transition this week. Above level vision in half-court offense seeing and delivering on the back door cuts for layups. A shooting guard that has deep range and is a must find on the floor especially in transition as she hustles down the court spotting up for the pass up the floor.

On defense a scrappy guard that will get in the mix among the trees to get that rebound. Hustled after every loose ball winning those 50/50 balls.
