To say that Fairfield Central had a down season in 2025-26 would be an understatement as the Griffins only won five games last season (two against York Prep). Two things may improve Fairfield Central’s fortunes – the move to 1A and the transfer of a pair of sisters from 4A Richland Northeast. Belk is that transfer and she would compete in 23 games last season for the Cavaliers. She would average 9.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 steals and 2.2 assists per game. She was one of only two from the class of 2030 that earned roster spots on last season’s Richland Northeast team. 

We have seen Belk on numerous occasions throughout the last few months with TUSC. Belk may currently play at Dent M.S. but it will not be long before she is in the orange and blue hues of 4A Richland Northeast. She also achieved a career highlight during the AAU season. TUSC was on hand at the Triumph Region Finals of the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit in Columbus, Georgia. Belk was named to our 13U First Team. Belk continues her solid play and one can guess that accolade will not be the only time her name is affiliated with the phrase “First Team.”
