Batiste was one of my many pleasant surprises after grabbing a glimpse of her high school squad earlier in the Conroe tournament, I got a better look at who she is and what she brings to the table. She’s an athletic guard who uses her athleticism on both ends. “On the ball” pressure is nice, and so is her attacking the basket strongly off the dribble to finish.
