About Kendall

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

On defense I play aggressively boxing out, rebounding, getting the ball down the court quickly leading to fast breaks. Offensively I play near the basket anticipating passes and rebounds from the guards resulting in lay ups or kicking the ball back out.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am team player that communicates on the court or cheers my teammates on from the bench. I have a high energy personality and can easily adjust to change.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with the youth group at church and enjoy doing community events with the church. I have participated in multiple pageants, winning grand supreme, best personality among other awards. I have also been the emcee for pageants.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned public speaking and confidence by competing in pageants. I see myself as a leader, confident, and a great teammate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge was being a starter in 8th grade to playing varsity as a freshman. I didn't get as much playing time but I learned a lot from the older players in practice and in the games.

What type of college are you looking for?

I haven't made a decision on this yet.

Spry is a name that rings a bell for the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit. Team Hickory Basketball Club 15U was one of the teams to beat at the Southeast Kickoff in its home state in late March and Spry brought her balling shoes with her to this year’s Peach Games. Spry is a multi-sport athlete who plays both basketball and tennis. Even though she primarily operates in the frontcourt, she can throw defenders off balance with the occasional 3-pointer. Spry competed in 25 contests this past season for a 4A East Burke assembling that concluded its 2025-26 season with a record of 21-8.

The first day of play went as planned for Team Hickory Basketball Club 15U as it won both of its contests on Saturday. Spry was an important piece in her team’s winning puzzle. She is a multi-sport athlete who also excels in tennis alongside her basketball achievements. In addition to being a skilled scorer, she is also a talented rebounder. She thrives on her ability effectively play in the interior and utilize the attention she garners to either score or give her teammates opportunities to make plays. Spry was among the five freshmen that were on the roster this past season for 4A East Burke.
