About Kendall

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play at a fast pace, and defense is my strong suit and where I contribute the most. I put a lot of ball pressure on my opponents and am constantly on my toes with active feet. Offensively, I am good at pushing the ball in transition and getting my teammates involved.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is always defense brings offense. When I am not having the best offensive game, I can always count on my defense because that is all effort and heart.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in clubs at my school, such as Connections Crew, Interact, and Student Council, which all give back to our community in some way.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills because, in those school clubs, we work with underclassmen to help them overcome the troubles or problems that they may have with their grades in high school. Outside of basketball, I coach younger kids at our local park district, and I also coach the younger girls in my AAU club.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I would say that this year has been a challenge for me in adjusting to our new high school coach. We had to make lots of adjustments and changes from the year before that were different, but as a team, we were able to stick together and overcome those challenges. We trusted our coach, and we were really able to turn around our program with a winning record.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a D3 college where I can still feed my love for basketball but also be able to focus on other things and enjoy my college experience.
