Williams also uses a slight HEZ to get by defenders, but her crossover in transition is equally impressive. She also has the “stutta step” yet her body control on her finishes after contact tells me a lot about what’s coming. Her “on the ball” pressure is good and she plays the passing lane

Williamson gave me a great second look and showed me my initial evaluation didn’t have me seeing a mirage. She’s only in the 4th grade, yet her BB-IQ as well as skillset is beyond her years. She’s a long and athletic guard who scores with ease off the dribble. She even gave me the spin move in the paint for the reverse. Court vision is solid, so is her defense, and she plays the passing lane.

Williamson is close to falling into that #D1Lock category I’ve been dropping on players for over 15 years, and guess what, I ain’t been wrong yet. She’s a “long and athletic” guard, which is the base, her explosive first step, and her ability to stay under control to finish are ahead of her years. Court vision looks good, but watching how she “reacts” and does things “instinctively” on both ends, yes, her “on the ball” pressure is a problem, dropped the mic, so did her interview
