McConnell has a massive wingspan and she puts it to good use. Is a rim protecting presence at the rim and can step out and blocks shots on the perimeter. Has good timing and an eagerness to make an impact. Similar principles on the offensive end allow her to get on the glass and finish well around the rim. Even has promise as a stretch big with good shooting form and hitting the occasional three pointer. McConnell should be a buzzey name this spring and summer for regional small coaches.

Glencoe is 7th in the recent Class B rankings at 19-2. They’re going to have a big size advantage over a lot other Class B teams thanks to McConnell. She has a wingspan even longer than her height and is mobile her size. From her highlights, she understands positioning, verticality and timing to swat shots without fouling. Has recorded a triple double on the year with 11 points, 11 rebounds and 12 blocks. Can even step out and hit threes. Stat stuffing junior season, with the potential to anchor a State Tournament run.

Long forward that is listed at 6’1 but has a 6’4 sing span. The timing of the jump and the long wingspan allows Kenzey to be that shot blocker many coaches are looking for in rim protector. A double-double type player that will get you 15 points with her soft off the glass and grab you 10 boards. Possible triple double candidate as I have seen a game high 7 blocks.

A player that I have not seen in person just video. The ceiling potential Kenzey has made her a player to watch this upcoming AAU season.

A workhorse in the paint. McConnell enjoyed a productive sophomore campaign. Her long arms help her out on the glass and blocking shots. Displays good timing and feel during those instances. Looks fairly mobile for her height with off the ball cutting, running the floor and even moving her feet to stay with shorter players. Small town sleeper, who’s effort, feel and size giver her a clear pathway to playing college ball.
