Kimber spent her first three seasons at Monroe Central, scoring 647 points and pulling down 495 rebounds during that time. At 6-3, she has the length, athleticism, and skill to affect the game facing the basket or filling a traditional post position. Most transfers tend to be guards and wings, so for a school of Wapahani’s size to be able to add an interior player like Kimber, it should instantly make them a formidable presence. Additionally, she has been committed to Division-I Oakland University near Detroit for some time now.

Kimber has had an outstanding Spring thus far, as she looks a little taller, noticeably stronger, and much more confident and assertive. She is extremely long, fluidly athletic, and she plays with a motor. She is a tremendous mid-post prospect, as she can knock down the 15-footer consistently or attack the basket. She’s also starting to show more comfort around the perimeter. I do think with her length and fluidity, she could become a highly effective, versatile defender, who could take on a variety of perimeter players.
