+4 If you read last week’s All-Freshman Team story from Ally McGinnis, or watched New London-Spicer at the high school State Tournament, then it will not surprise you that Tanner is moving up in the prospect rankings. At 6’2 with great mobility, Korbin was always going to be a scholarship-level prospect. This winter her game, confidence, and productivity reached the point where Division 1 is now entirely in the realm of possibility. Her skilled footwork and touch around the rim were particularly impressive, leading to nearly 16 points per game. Her shot blocking and rebound efforts were equally important. Tanner moves up four places to #11.

#15: Following an outstanding summer with West Central United , Tanner is gearing up for a big high school season. Standing at 6’2, the New London-Spicer freshman possesses the unique combination of size, strength, and mobility that is required of a D1 post prospect. In addition, Korbin’s ability to score inside the paint, rebound and block shots with ease, and even knock down shots from beyond the arc give her game a significant degree of versatility. After averaging 7.5 points and 5 rebounds per game as an 8th grader, Tanner is ready to take things up another notch this winter.

A newer addition to our 2029 radar, this is a player who is hard to miss. The New London-Spicer 8th grader stands at a true 6’2 and has a tremendous build for the college level. She’s mobile, long, and possesses plenty of strength, as well. Tanner excels at scoring and rebounding in the low post, but can play out on the perimeter just as easily. She plays hard, can handle the ball, and is developing an outside shot. Korbin has been turning heads this summer and she will continue to do so as her game develops.
