It is somewhat rare these days to see a player who has no problem staying in the painted area of the court with no need to desire to play out on the perimeter. If it works, then don’t fix it and it was working inside for Kori. She looked taller than 5’8 to me and definitely played that way. Leake displayed very good movement and foot work to go along with her size, utilizing a very nice spin move on one play in particular. Kori worked hard on the boards and rebounded the ball very well, especially on the offensive end. Leake showed that she was than capable of scoring from the perimeter on a few occasions, the most impressive being a really nice step back jumper she knocked down.
