About Kyla
Expert Analysis
Will Tender | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
The League MVP, Frazier was the definition of a three-level scorer and two-way force. Offensively, she could do it all — hit from deep, attack the rim, and create shots in the midrange. She handled the ball with confidence and composure, either initiating offense or moving smartly off the ball to find her spots. What truly set her apart, though, was her defense. Frazier’s quickness, anticipation, and lateral mobility made her a lockdown presence, and her ability to read help rotations allowed her to disrupt plays without ever being out of position. Her presence alone demanded defensive attention, freeing up teammates and making her the centerpiece of Bellarmine Prep’s success.

Kyla is one of the biggest risers for a great reason, especially after her MVP winning season last year as a sophomore. She has continued to improve her skills on both ends, becoming a player who can defend at multiple positions and make big defensive plays regardless. Offensively, she attacks the ball well and uses her speed and elite footwork to her advantage to get easy buckets. D1 coaches should be all over Frazier as the year continues.

1st team all SPSL North Division. Could be one of the most underrated players in the class. She was excellent as a freshman. Listed as a small forward, she has the ability to score from three and handles the ball well. She has speed in the open floor and always has the head up. Her defensive anticipation and quickness led to lots of steals, allowing her to showcase the open floor talent. She is a good finisher around the basket and the ability to see open teammates was there. Athletic and smooth player with a lot to like.
