I’ve said it before and I will say it again; Young has to be the most improved athlete in the state! I have watched Kyle for years and she has improved in all aspects of the game. She has always been known for shooting the long ball. She is taking defenders off the dribble now. She is making correct reads, and she is doing a great job rebounding on both sides of the ball. Remember, we need more Gabbie Marshall’s at the next level. Young is the do-it-all kid and that is exactly what led her to offers to play at the next level. This kid continues to play any role that her team needs with 110% effort. A true stock-riser that put in the time and it shows!

A kid who checks all the boxes. Athletic guard who possesses speed, skill, and someone who is overall tough. This kid competes her tail off and will do anything to help her ballclub win. She is unselfish, putting her team’s needs over any individual opportunity. Offensively, she can score from all 3 levels consistently, unleashing a deadly stroke. She can create for herself and others, but putting the ball in the hole, she can do that effortlessly. Defensively, she is a lockdown defender who creates havoc. A super talented kid who is a great teammate.

Young continues to put in the work, and it continues to show every time she steps on the court. I have followed Kyle for quite some time, and she is one of the most improved athletes. I love athletes that put in the work, & she is definitely a name to know! She is a tough defender, and she never takes a play off. She works extremely hard on both sides of the court. She continues to shoot the 3 ball at a high percentage. If she is open, count it. I love the effort that Kyle plays with! Check out a highlight clip by Griffon Cox below:

Young did a great job defensively! She drilled a beautiful corner 3 in the third quarter. She followed it up in the 4th quarter by knocking down another timely 3 ball for TKA. When TKA was down, Kyle was able to help get them back in the game.

Young deserves to be recognized for her play through the first half of the season! She continues to do whatever is needed to help her team win! I love the confidence that she is showing in her ability to not only score the 3, but by putting the ball on the floor and attacking downhill! She is taking care of the ball and finding open teammates. She is also defending any opponent that she is tasked with exceptionally well. She understands and fully embraces the we>me concept! Whatever role is needed, Young is there to take it on whole heartily!

Young has come a long way on her basketball journey. Last year she gave TKA great minutes, and a steadying hand, on her way to 9 points a game, and 35+ made threes for the year. She’s turned into a calm hand offensively that understands when her team needs in the moment. She had a few really nice nights off the bench last season.
