A 5’3″ 2025 point guard was one of the most impressive offensive players at the event. She has been a bucket-getter throughout her entire career. Her lack of height does not bother her at all. She is a three-level scorer who can extend it out well past the 3-point line. She was also fearless when attacking the lane against all of the tall players inside.

An active guard on both ends of the court, Hammontree thrived in the more up tempo nature that often comes with Grassroots ball. She feasted in transition, sometimes even being the one to deflect a pass. Or apply the on the ball pressure that created the transition opportunities. In a Saturday afternoon viewing, she was particularly impactful in the second half. Even hitting from distance and made a great read in the halfcourt on a pass to a cutting teammate.
