Bellmont was the Class 3A State Champion this year, and not much of the state was aware of “who they are”. I have been watching each of them since about middle school, and Lanie is a really nice, scrappy, aggressive, and always-around-the-ball guard. She has nice length at her size, speed & quickness, and she is as effective defending as she is offensively. She loves to pressure the ball, but she’s equally good bothering passing lanes. Offensively, she can rip a 3-pointer when on balance and in rhythm, plus she’s quick off the dribble and will look to attack immediately after the catch.
