Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
When Lauren is able to get her feet set and find rhythm, there might not be a better lefty shooter in Indiana in 2025. Friday, she found that rhythm in a stretch that extended from late in the first half through much of the second half. She knocked down deeeep 3-pointers, pull-ups in transition, and she was very active in other parts of the game. She handled the ball a lot more than she’s probably accustomed to, she did a nice job defensively, plus she was active on the boards. Coaches seem to be noticing her potential as a weapon around the perimeter, and I think she’ll see her recruiting pick up quickly.

When she is able to get her feet set and find rhythm, Lauren is one of the best shooters in the state in 2025. She had a stretch in the second half of Thursday afternoon’s game where she caught fire from outside, plus she was aggressive to the basket and earned a nice “and-1” situation. She is an extremely long and wiry lefty, she is a fluid athlete, and in the last year she has really improved her overall awareness, her handle, and her physicality.

Lauren is an extremely long, wiry, very active wing guard who has a knack for making tough shots and shots with deep range. She is one of those kids who you wouldn’t want to play H-O-R-S-E against. She has great touch, a quick release, and she’s a lefty, making her a little rarer to defend off the bounce. She is using the dribble more and attacking the basket, plus she uses her length well to cause issues defensively.

Lauren is a talented lefty shooter who has a quick shot process and the ability to take over a game from beyond the arc. When she is able to get her feet set and find rhythm, I am typically shocked when she misses it. She has shown an improved understanding of shot selection this Spring as opposed to last, and as she continues to figure out that part of the game, as well as continues to attack more and become a multilevel scorer, which she is also doing better, I think she will draw quite a bit of small college interest. Everyone needs shooting, plus she is handling it more, and she is a feisty defender.
