Hampton was another impressive young guard for Ryle. She did a little bit of everything for her team and did it well. She is a very skilled player who used shot fakes and the triple threat position effectively on offense to create space and drive by defenders. She also made shots from the perimeter. Hampton is an athletic kid who moved well without the ball cutting backdoor and sprinted out on the break scoring easy lay ups in transition. She has a little swag to her game on offense handling the ball as well.

Laynee Hampton Laynee Hampton 5'6" | SG Ryle | 2029 State KY is a guard who can operate as the primary ball handler or play effectively off the ball. She has a tight handle and is a trusted floor general, capable of running the offense with poise. Offensively, she’s a solid perimeter shooter who can also attack the rim and finish. On the defensive end, Laynee has a nose for the ball and competes with energy. She averaged 5.4 points per game for Ryle last season and is expected to see a noticeable spike in production as a freshman.
