Madesko was a bright spot for North Springs. She showed a high basketball IQ being the primary ball handler while being overwhelmed by a much better team. Madesko played with poise and never got rattled for the Lady Spartans. She stayed positive throughout the entirety of the game in a difficult situation. Leila has some skill on offensive. She has very long range shooting the ball from three. She not only handled the pressure but beat it by driving by the defense or making crosscourt passes. She should have some good games scoring the ball as region play continues.
