Brooks is athletic with good balance on the ball and a strong handle, complemented by solid shooting mechanics and a clean release. She projects as a very good defender once she learns to use her physicality and wingspan more consistently. She has good breakaway speed, pushes the ball on the break, and is tough to stop once she gets downhill, finishing well when driving to the basket, and likes to clean up on the offensive glass.

Development areas to work on for next season: improve court vision, crash the boards for putbacks more consistently, and add more layers of shot creation/scoring to her game.
