Lexie Bradford
About Lexie
Expert Analysis
BJ Batson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
There were stretches in this game where Bradford was un-guardable in the post. She, along with White, fought until the very end for Coffee and left it all on the court in their final high school game. Bradford was very good finishing around the basket, whether it was on an assist from a teammate, an offensive rebound, or a loose ball. She got control of the ball and got it up to the rim with good touch quickly. She showed her athleticism on one play late in the game sprinting the length of the floor and finishing. Bradford was fouled several times shooting and made most of her shots from the line. Her productivity was very good in this game and should have gained the interest of college coaches in attendance.

Bradford is one of the state’s most physical low block scorers. She loves to clear out space with her elbows on drop steps. While her power catches your eye and is her most effective asset, you can’t overlook Lexie’s IQ as a passer. She does a great job finding cutters out of the low and high post. Bradford makes others around her better, a rare skill for bigs.

Bradford is a player with a strong build that knows how to post hard on the block. Uses her body to pin the defenders deep which allows her easy touches at the rim. A player that can rip from the high post but use the up and under to her advantage. One of the rare back to basket post on the day. Knows how to rebound and score through contact.
