Becker stood out with how well she attacked off the dribble. She is a really solid driver who plays with confidence and does not get discouraged by contact. That toughness showed up when she got into the lane. She was willing to challenge defenders, absorb bumps, and still finish plays. For a guard at her size, that kind of fearlessness is a big deal. What I liked most about Lilly’s game was that she played with purpose. When she saw a lane, she took it. When the defenses gave her a chance to get downhill, she made them pay. She looked comfortable creating pressure on the rim and showed good body control as a finisher. Guards who can consistently collapse the defense are always valuable, and Lilly flashed that ability during the event. She brought toughness, attacked with intent, and showed that she can be a real problem when she gets downhill.
