#30 – First catching our attention back in the 7th grade, Wesen has been on our radar for more than two years. In that time we’ve seen some serious growth in her game. These days, the 5’8 combo guard is a highly skilled speed demon who shines as a feisty perimeter defender, aggressive downhill attacker, and confident outside shooter. Continuously becoming stronger and more athletic, Lily’s game is a textbook example of what it means to play with hustle. Scrappy and smart with the ball in her hands, the Albany freshman plays without fear, giving 110 percent each and every time she steps on the court.

Wesen was in her bag from the time she walked into the gym until the final horn went off. The West Central United guard by way of Albany had the ball on a string and got wherever she wanted, whenever she wanted. She showed great body control around the basket, contorting herself in mid-air and finding ways to finish with either hand. Wesen was just as impressive without the ball, moving well and constantly putting herself in position to make something happen. She was a massive threat from all three levels and played with a confidence that stood out. As she continues to get stronger and build on an already well-developed skill set, this budding star has all the tools to be a problem for years to come.
