Expert Analysis

Henry plays with grit, toughness and physicality every possession. The strong interior presence battles relentlessly for position and consistently comes away with rebounds because of her instincts and effort. Lindsey owns soft hands around the basket and looks comfortable scoring with her back to the rim.
Her footwork stands out in the post where she uses up-and-under moves and counters effectively to create scoring angles. Henry finishes with both power and finesse, giving defenders multiple problems to solve inside. The combination of rebounding instincts, strength and polished post play makes her one of the tougher interior matchups in the class.

After multiple tournaments of watching Lindsey and her team play, I can confidently say she is one of the best scoring forwards in her class in Georgia. She has an excellent jump shot and I have seen her consistently make shots from 12-15 feet over the course of 5-6 games. She is also very good driving the ball to the basket and using her strength and athleticism to finish at the rim through contact and over defenders. Henry has also demonstrated that she is very effective scoring the ball in the post. She has very good footwork and does nice job using head/shot fakes to get the defender in the air. She is a player I was not very familiar with heading into travel ball this season, but has had an excellent start to her Spring and Summer with Wood Elite . Her ability to get a bucket from multiple spots on the court, defend her position, and her size should make her a very desirable recruit to college coaches in the region.

It’s not too often that you see skilled post players at the 16U level, but Lindsey was just that all weekend at Peach Games. She has a strong frame and nice size down low and used her strength to overpower players in the post. Her knack for rebounding and finishing in the paint made her one of the top three post players I saw in her class at this event. I was impressed with her ability to use the pick and roll properly which is a skill you don’t see perfected as much in today’s game.

She’s a tough one to guard in the paint! A physical beast with great position and ability to get to the line and connect. Soft touch when shooting around the paint. Love her powerful dribble to the rim! She will come at you! Tough defender and rebounder! (Below in white uniform)

Coming off a freshman season in which she averaged 10.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game, Henry will look to continue with her physical dominance in the paint. Lindsey has great hands and a nose for the ball. College programs will start tracking soon.

Will likely start popping up on college radars with her rugged brand of play inside. Scores with her back to the basket. Tenacious rebounder. High motor.

It cannot be said enough about height – it cannot be coached. Henry stands at 5-foot-11 and that height advantage not only comes in handy on the basketball court, but also in volleyball as she is a two-sport athlete. That height also comes in useful in the rebounding game. Those offensive boards can translate into two-point putbacks. Defensively, she also uses her height to her advantage as she is a consistent threat to block shots. Smart passing and ball handling are two of the many other elements to her game Henry places much emphasis on. Henry is poised for an emphatic freshman campaign.
