I still believe Nussmeyer is under the radar when it comes to high-level D1 prospects in Illinois. She possesses all the intangibles of a versatile player who can be impactful in multiple systems at a mid or high-major program. The next step is being consistent in whatever role she’s in. Wouldn’t shock me to see a couple of offers hit her door in the next month or two.

The simplicity of Lola’s game is what stands out to me the most. She gets where she needs to go in a short amount of dribbles and doesn’t get bothered by double teams. Offensively, she’s playing off pure natural athleticism, and once the skill sharpens on that side of the ball, she could become a top-tier player in this class. Defensively, her frame allows her to be utilized from the perimeter to the post, causing problems for all positions. Strong upside.

With the length that Lola has, defense has been her calling card in my opinion. She’s a paint blanket and can cover the perimeter if need be. Offensively, she shines too. She has had multiple 20+ point games over the first half, and a ton of those buckets are from multiple spots and angles. The potential is there.
