About Lydia
Expert Analysis
Ally McGinnis | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Sweep impressed our scouts for the first time this summer after putting together a 44-point weekend with the West Central Wildcats at the Meltdown. Standing at 6’2, her strength and stature was immediately obvious, but Lydia’s mobility, innate feel for the game, and ability to score in multiple ways around the rim were really what drew us in. While the West Central Area junior is somewhat inexperienced when it comes to high-level basketball, it’s clear that many of the tools needed to succeed at the next level are there. With the Knights graduating six seniors, Sweep will be crucial this winter. She comes in at #142.
