Mackenzie was one of the pleasant surprises of the Cornerstone Elite Camp. It was my first opportunity to watch her play, as she doesn’t compete in AAU, and she made a strong impression with her toughness and effort. During the live 5-on-5 action, Mackenzie attacked the basket with confidence, embracing contact and earning multiple trips to the free throw line. On the defensive end, she consistently put herself in the right position, showing good awareness and discipline throughout the afternoon. Her physical style of play and willingness to compete stood out against a talented group of players.
