Freeze is a six-footer that is both a capable scorer and willing defender. Offensively, Freeze is at her best when utilized in the pick’n’roll game due to her being a good screener, whose length creates separation. Additionally, Freeze positions herself well when diving to the basket.

On the flip-side, the power-forward can cover a lot of ground and is quick enough to rotate over and alter/contest shots.

During her time at St. Pius X, Freeze helped the Sartans to a 78-32 record (.709 win percentage), winning three straight District titles.

Freeze enters her senior year with two collegiate offers to her name. Back in September, the six-footer was offered by Webster University and Williamette University.

Freeze is a capable scorer and willing defender that can go and record a Double-Double on a nightly basis. However, Freeze is expected to have a bigger role for the Sartans in 2024-25.

Freeze was a key component in helping take SPX to the 4A Title Game this past season (2023-24) as the Sartans were the No. 2 overall seed. The 6’0″ forward does a good job of providing relief points around the basket and is a steady option in the pick’n’roll game. On the flip side, Macy is a willing and capable defender inside the paint area who has the ability to force opposing players into tough shots due to her length.

Freeze is an intriguing forward that helped take SPX to the 4A title game this past season. Standing at 6’0″, Macy’s length allows for her to both shoot over smaller defenders and be a viable threat in the pick’n’roll game, particularly when diving to the cup. Having said that, look for Macy to play more on the perimeter this upcoming season with the development of her three-point shot and handle.

On the flip side, Freeze does a good job of battling on the glass and altering opposing players shot attempts without fouling, which is a plus.
