When she was younger, Maddie was more of an athlete than a pure basketball player. But as she has progressed throughout high school, she has gained more offensive skill, and therefore she has been a more aggressive, more confident scorer. She has great length, an athletically strong frame, and she can get out and run the floor. She can box out or pursue rebounds outside of her area, she’s a rim protector, and she is starting to show more consistent touch at 15-feet. She could be in line for a big Senior year for the 59ers.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

Maddie is one of the most athletic posts few people know about. She has never been a grassroots kid, but she has been very good for Andrean the last two years. As a Sophomore, she was more of a defensive presence, still learning how to score, but last season she looked much more comfortable on the block, and there were times the 59ers ran offense through her. She has length, a solid, athletic frame, and she moves well in all directions. She can rebound and defend, and she does a nice job of blocking/altering shots.
