A kid who is going to help her ballclub for sure. A solid two-way player who has a knack for getting her hands on the ball. During play, she had multiple steals that led to easy transition buckets. I love her ability to get in a stance, keep her opponent in front, and make them work for everything. On offense, she has a nice stroke from the field. Given any kind of space from the arc, the ball will go in. This young lady, who plays with a lot of confidence, will be leaned on more this season to score the rock and compete on the defensive end. Keep tabs on this young lady as she continues to grow.

Maddie showcased her offensive versatility and playmaking ability throughout the event. She was effective putting the ball on the floor and attacking the baseline which created scoring opportunities for herself and forced the defense to react. In transition, she displayed excellent touch and vision with a perfectly placed lob pass that led directly to a bucket. Maddie also proved to be a threat from long range, knocking down shots from well beyond the three-point line with confidence. On the defensive end, she came up with one of the biggest plays of the game by recording a strip steal late to help seal the victory. Her combination of shot-making, playmaking, and timely defensive plays made for an impressive weekend performance.

A kid who isn’t afraid of any smoke. A nice change of pace guard who is poised with the ball in her hands. Sees the floor well, drops dimes, and won’t hesitate to go get a bucket. Has a nice stroke from deep, a quick first step that enables her to get by a defender and into her floater game. This kid will be a nice addition to the WHS program. Someone who can open up a lot for others as well as get hers in the process. Look for this hungry individual to come out of the gates and be an important piece to the Watertown program.
