McCarthy is a pure shooter who stretched the floor with her ability to knock down 3-pointers from the wing, corner, and top of the key. The lefty does an excellent job moving without the ball, finding open space, and staying shot-ready, allowing her to get quality looks off kickouts, in transition, and even through heavy contests. Her quick release, confident approach, and fundamentally sound mechanics make her reliable contributor on the perimeter.
