Madeline recently picked up an offer from Mott Community College and it was easy to see why at Northwood Team Camp. Madeline has height, finishing touch around the basket, good hands and pivoting footwork, and a rebounding presence that makes her a foundational player in the Swartz Creek lineup. She pinned a defender deep with a strong seal, drove her under the basket with strength, and went up off two for the left handed finish. Madeline caught passes at their highest point, forced the defense to put her on the free throw line, and knocked down shots from the charity stripe. She caused misses on the defensive end, protected the paint, and finished well around the blocks with both hands after using excellent pivoting footwork. Don’t be surprised to see her recruiting take off in the coming months.

Madeline was a bright spot for her Swartz Creek team on Saturday and she continues to show potential. Madeline was a relentless rebounder for the Dragons and was rewarded with free throws after battling for an offensive board. She used a strong seal in the low post to gain the advantage and then scored a powerful drop-step left-handed layup off of two feet after creating separation with her shoulder.
