Madison is far from your traditional big—she’s a uniquely skilled, all-around player who brings guard-like shooting ability to the frontcourt. She can stretch the floor with her jumper, dominate in the post with polished footwork, and facilitate the offense with impressive vision and passing accuracy. Her strength and touch on passes make her a reliable playmaker, capable of setting up teammates from anywhere on the court. Defensively, Madison holds her own with athleticism and toughness, consistently pulling down tough rebounds and protecting the paint. Madison is a rare big who can truly do it all on the court—scoring, playmaking, and defending at a high level. What stood out most during the tournament was her ability to consistently facilitate and create offense for her team. Whether she was initiating plays from the high post, making sharp passes out of double teams, or finding open teammates on the move, Madison showcased a level of vision and basketball IQ that’s uncommon for her position. Coupled with her scoring touch and strong defensive presence, she proved to be the complete package and a game-changer every time she stepped on the floor.

Madison has the highest ceiling of any 16U player I saw this weekend when it comes to projections at the next level. She was dominant on the boards, especially offensively. She has a long frame that led to numerous blocks throughout the event and her ability to elevate helped her tremendously for those rebounds and blocked shots. Her quick elevation contributed to many put-backs and she just flat out skied over people for rebounds in Georgia on their way to a 4-0 record.

Madison is one of the smartest two-way centers you’ll see, combining a high basketball IQ with relentless effort and leadership. On offense, her intelligence shines as she secures rebounds and immediately looks to push the ball or direct traffic, often setting up her teammates with smart, timely passes. Defensively, she’s disciplined and savvy—she understands rotations, helps at the right times, and defends without fouling. Madison plays with a high motor, crashing the boards hard, contesting shots, racking up blocks, and giving max effort on every possession. She’s a true anchor on both ends and the kind of player every team needs.

The SisterHood Lady Lions 16U Bolden was the other 16U team that went 4-0 this past weekend. It helps when – as 6A Terry vividly understands – one of its best players happens to stand at a towering 6-foot-2. It also helps when that 6-foot-2 standout happens to be a double-double threat on a game-by-game basis. The SisterHood Lady Lions 16U Bolden set the tone for a successful weekend when it routed Team Elite Hubbard 16U Josh with the final tally being 67-37. Jones scored 12 points in that victory. Jones can operate at either the four or the five and is a multi-sport athlete who also competes in volleyball and track.

At times the height may be there but the talent may not match it. That is not an issue for this talented 6-foot-2 rising star from the western portions of Mississippi as both the talent and height are present. That height advantage enables her to do plenty of work in converting on high-percentage point opportunities near the basket. Jones will also grab plenty of rebounds and will come out on the winning end of many battles on the boards. Her play was a massive catalyst as to why Terry concluded the 2024-25 season with a record of 20-8. Both scoring and rebounding were key factors in The SisterHood Lady Lions 16U Bolden earning an emphatic win over Team Elite Hubbard 16U Josh.
