Maggie capped off an impressive basketball career at Riverton by earning First-Team All-Region honors, a recognition well deserved for her consistent production and impact. Averaging 12.5 points and 10.6 rebounds per game, she was a key presence for the Silverwolves, controlling the glass and contributing as a reliable scoring option.

While her basketball résumé is strong, her future lies in another sport. Maggie will continue her athletic career at the University of Utah, where her talent on the soccer field has opened the next door. Her competitiveness, work ethic, and athleticism developed on the hardwood should translate well as she takes the next step at the collegiate level.

Hamblin might be one of the better two sport athletes in the state. Hamblin can hit bombs out on the softball field and last season hamblin was also hitting huge bombs on the basketball court as well. Hamblin improved her game this past season and started knocking down those outside jumpers. She was deadly in the corners and her ability to spread the floor was impressive. Hamblin has committed to play at The University of Utah for Softball but she can sure ball out too. She will be a double-double machine next year.

Hamblin has already surpassed her scoring from beyond the arc and with Stauffer out she was playing a lot out in the perimeter. Hamblin was playing with a great motor and she is tough to keep off the glass.

Size could be a big factor for her as she is a bigger player that is mobile and with soft hands and a great finishing percentage when she gets the ball in the paint. Hamblin could be a first option this year so look fo rher to be on a path to have a breakout season.

Hamblin is a post player that can spread the floor. That is what makes her dangerous is that she can really step out beyond the arc and let it fly. If you do not have a mobile big you might be in trouble defending her when she gets into that pick n’ pop.
