Makenna is a big time offensive threat, being able to score from all 3 levels. Her deep shot is very smooth, having a nice release point paired with a quick release to make it tough to defend. I watched her live last year in a win-or-go home game to advance to the state tournament and she knocked down 5 threes throughout the game, letting it fly with confidence.

Makenna is a fundamental guard who consistently plays to her strengths, making her a reliable asset on the court. She has been diligently enhancing her offensive game, becoming more versatile and well-rounded. In the paint, she displays great control by playing off two feet, allowing her to finish effectively against defenders. Makenna is also a sharpshooter from beyond the arc, knocking down a high percentage of her three-point attempts with confidence.

A standout left-handed guard, Makenna showcased her exceptional skills last season with a smooth jump shot, effortlessly sinking three-pointers. Her ability to excel in transition is unmatched, as she fills lanes with precision and finishes strong through contact. Defensively, she stands out with her quick footwork and relentless energy, making her a tough matchup for any opponent. Her all-around performance has solidified her as a key player to watch this upcoming season.

As just a freshman, Pepper earned Second Team All-League honors and showed why she’s one of the league’s brightest young talents. A smooth left-handed guard, she shot the ball with confidence and finished well around the rim. Defensively, Pepper brought energy and aggression, consistently creating turnovers and sparking transition opportunities. With her skill and competitive edge, she’s quickly become a cornerstone for Selah’s future.

Makenna is a great shooter from deep but can also play in the paint if needed. She sets strong screens but can also run the pick and roll with the ball in her hands. She knocks down deep shots consistently and defenders need to stay on their toes at all times.
