About Maliya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m an aggressive two-way shooting guard who attacks the basket and has a strong mid-range game. I play fast, push the pace in transition, and look to create for teammates while staying ready to knock down open shots. I take pride in my defense, rebounding, and bringing energy every possession.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m very competitive and team-first. I work hard, stay coachable and try to lead by example with effort and attitude. I’m always looking for ways to improve my game and help my team win.

I’ve developed leadership skills being team caption for my high school team

Relocating from Canada for my junior year

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can compete at a high level, grow as a player, and be part of a competitive program with a strong team culture. I also want a school that values academics and will help prepare me for my career after basketball.
