Low-floor, high-ceiling prospect. Willing passer who makes the right play. Virtually unstoppable in 1v1 situations if you don’t send help. The length, 1st step, and shot-making ability all play a factor. Maliya made some noise at EYBL Session 1, playing up in the 17U division. She has the potential to be a Day 1 starter at the Power 4 level.

Maliya showed development in her ability to finish through contact AND to create for her own shot. Has already shown size, athleticism to protect the rim and guard from the perimeter. High IQ player with the basketball, chooses spots to attack off the bounce well + can make you pay from behind the arc. Potential to make noise as one of the top 2028’s in California.

Moves well laterally and impacts game with active hands. Showed as a freshman the ability to guard, rebound and impact the game against top competition in the state.
